Just the other night we were all planning to rent a van next year
so we can leave when ever we want.
This year we went with 3 busses in the middel of the day so there was way to much traffic it took us 10 hours!
but it was worth it!

I'll be going, too!!.

But I hope to persuade some friends to go by car, because the organizer of the bus travels from Barcelona is a fucking asshole and I don't want to give him my money again.

This was my first Wacken as well, and I'm also planning to go next year!

Will try to do something about other travelling arrangements though, those 18 hours in a bus was fucking hell...
Down to wacken was ok, drunk most of the time and don't even remeber the entire bus trip down :D

But home, sober, for 18 hours, and the toilet in the bus didn't work.
Fuck...

Would be nice to not sleep in a tent as well, will have to look into that possibility.

But even if I do need to stay in a tent, and I know it will get smashed as it did this year, and I will need to go by bus as this year, I WILL be there for sure!

:p

Anway, my plan for 2003 is to hire a van, and bring much more alcohol.

And next time I'll bring more than just 5 tins of ravioli.

just wondered how many people think that the line up at this years summer breeze festival is better than wacken ?
or maybe its just that i am not that keen on the power metal

i know wacken rules for the whole atmosphere but i have to admit i wish i had been going to summerbreeze this year :(

lets hope next years Wacken has some great bands, cheaper prices and not so many fu*k ups

^v^ more black/death metal ^v^

I'll becoming down from London with some mates, but Like WitchFinder by plane this time !!!

we've calculated the trip by plne and train to cost about 80 quid, assuming an expensive return flight ticket .... otherwise it could be more like 45 :)

I think that the line up for Summer Breeze look great and I feel sorry that I'm not able to go there!
It just might be even better than Wacken's line up.

There are some bands there that I'd love to see live but have not had the chanse yet, like:
Dimmu Borgir, Nightwish, Tiamat, Vader, Soliwork

But at this years Wacken when I got to see Amon Amarth, Immortal, Pretty Maids, Hypocrisy and several other great bands, I wouldn't have exchanged it for Summer Breeze.
