Violence at WOA??

I am from the netherlands, i have been at woa 3 times now. The first time i went to WOA at wednesday or thursday, (not sure) about every dutch car was checked for drugs on the way to wacken, at just a few miles distance from wacken.
I did not have any drugs, so i had no problem, they did use a dog, and it took less than 10 minutes.

The other 2 times, i arived at tuesday morning, very early, and the checkpoint was not there yet. It was there latter though, so my conclusion is that you can avoid it by going to wacken as early as possible.

I have heard of others that had drugs (small quantities, only for personal use) and all that happened was that they lost the drugs. Of course that sucks, but not as bad as you might expect...

I have also informed about prizes at the festival, since about 100 people ask me to sell them drugs each day, and it is not worth it.

Final conclusion: only take some for personal use, hide it well (pu it in a bag, but that bag in another bag and have something like pepper in the outer bag, i heard that should help against the dogs) and travel early.

oh and for the violence, I have never ever met any violence at any metal festival before. (not counting a good pit of course)
It just doesn't happen.

The only chance there can be some violence there is that they're so stupid they suddenly decide to close all the beer\booze tents.
"Sorry folks, no more alcohol, but we got coke?"
Then i know there's a few norwegian that's coming in on a bustour that would be really pissed.. Not strange after 19 hours on a bus ) And NO ALCOHOL allowed (

How easy is it to get some ganja at Wacken?, are there many people selling, because we are flying from England and it is impossible to get ganja through customs. cheers

Just write "Looking for ... pay well!" on a piece of paper, walk the campside and enjoy what you've found in about half an hour or less. It really works, tried it W:O:A '2000.

About the violence... never mind. There can't be a more peaceful place on earth than Wacken with all the sweet little bunnies and butterflies playing in a huge field of daffodiles.
O.K. a little bit exaggerated but just a little. I've been there twice, I'm female and I don't have the slightest complaints. Any more questions about that?

the only "violence" i saw was last year's mud fight eheh
about drugs, i stopped some time ago, but i believe it's rather easy to get them through
and don't smoke if you're right next me i hate the smell now

Anyway, last summer I was walking throught the camping grounds and two guys stopped me and asked me if I had got fire. 'Yup' said I, producing my Zippo. They had this huge, beautiful [literally] joint, which I lit for them and they then invited me to share it with them. I said no - I was in a bit of a hurry and I don't smoke except on extremely rare occasions. Anyway, I've regretted this ever since.....
