Update: Running Order 2007

I'm quite happy with the running order actually Bit gutted about having to miss (i would imagine) most or all of Municiupal Waste, but apart from that its alright.

Everyone here seems to be raving about Moonsorrow, Im gonna go check em out I think.

P.S. Is it so difficult to have less hardcore bands all playing in the first day?

Yes. That's because the Party Stage is called "Hellfest Stage" on Thursday, which means mainly hardcore etc. - possibly all those bands are at the same record company/label/etc.

I know it must be difficult to get the running order right for everyone but it baffles me that Immortal and Moonsorrow should clash. It seems obvious that those bands would share fanbases.

I have to say though, the Immortal/Municipal Waste clash annoys me even more as they`re the 2 bands I most want to see! I`d love to see MW moved to earlier in the day when there`s about a 4 hour gap where no-one much interests me at all! Swapping MW with Vision Bleak would make a lot of sense IMO, I can`t imagine many MW fans care about seeing Rage and vice versa. And I doubt Vision Bleak and Immortal share a fanbase.

As for Moonsorrow, why not just change them with the preceding band, Benedictum?

So yep, that`s my favoured plan - Municipal Waste for Vision Bleak and Moonsorrow for Benedictum. Go on, you know it makes sense!

My friend, you are a genius.
Those are exactly my thoughs. With so many bands like those, there shouldnt be styles clashing like Moonsorrow/Immortal or Samael/Kampar. It's great to have some the best bands on a night spot but when it come for us to take a decision of which to choose, its kind of disapointing.

Please Wacken, swap Moonsorrow with Benedictum & Municipal Waste with Vision Bleak!

And by the way, could someone explain me why is thursday's running order so boring with all those bands booked on the whole week-end???
