I remember a friend from Alberta was complaining big time how it wouldn't stop snowing and it was almost the end of spring. I say the weather is five years old, doesn't listen, and only does what it's told long after it's become relevant

I can verify this
I always aim to get the day off after a gig (often we get international acts on Thursdays or Sundays). At smaller venues, this also means if I wait around long enough, I can meet the bands

Well I can't really take a day off everytime I go to a gig.
And I have fun anyway. Like today. CoB was awesome. Alexi threw his pick just past my head but of course I didn't get it..

Of the "picks and stuff" that I've got:
1. Placed in my hand when I went in for the handshake
2. Thrown into the crowd and no-one saw where it landed, after which I thought "haha, wouldn't it be funny if I found it"...ZOIT!
3. My friend caught it and I was sad I missed it, so he gave it to me
My friend Jake is a "picks and stuff" magnet though. His collection is just ridiculous!
