The bit that wasn't awesome was when I missed the turn-off, and then there was single carriageway/double lines/nowhere to pull over for kilometres on end. When I finally found a place to turn around and found civilisation again, there was no phone reception at all, but luckily some shops were still open, so I asked for direction. "Just keep going up this road" she says..."about another 45 minutes" she says She did warn of windy roads and one lane sections. It was one of those drives where if I went over the speed limit, I'd probably lose control of my vehicle and die
