The Ekka I met up with two friends and an acquaintance. It was really super busy and we had to line up for everything except the toilet. I decided since my brother really wanted a show bag, that I would get one for myself too. It won't last me the week

Also, we sat for drinks and we thought everyone who was there before was leaving, so we snagged the table. The old couple weren't moving though. Holy fuck they were hysterical! They were pissed to the point where if I had as much as them, I'd be asleep already They spent a good deal of time talking about Catholicism (more real life stuff than preachy shit though, thankfully), Nationalism, politics, where they came from, something about weed crops, etc. When they finally left, the gentleman went "I'll see you in Heaven, I'll see you in Heaven...and I'll see you in Yepoon...hahahahahahahahahahaha"

So did they have good food?

Yes, but very expensive. I did sample some chilli sauce, wine and ice cream in the food pavilion. The chilli sauce was made with Carolina Reaper chillies...yep, it was hot!

So, I've had too much to drink in good company, eaten German sausage with sauerkraut, attended an all-day gig with markets and activities, eaten all the junk food and saw farm animals, and now I think I've almost compensated for not going to Wacken this year
