I'm curious - is there an actual record for the longest amount of time a person has managed to keep their wristband on?

I don't know. Maybe ask Guiness? My oldest one is from 2013, since I#m still young. I knew a guy (haven't met him a year), who had his arm more or less covered with those things - mostly technician special access bands - and they were partly from the early nineties. but I guess there are more people out there with even older bands.

There's a certain part of the wrist where it becomes easy enough to slip them off so that totally doesn't count :p The ones I have my my wrist right now are those that I cannot simply slip off, and the oldest one is from 2010. I know that's no record in itself, as I've heard some people had theirs on for six years before they rotted off.

I had my wristbands for 6 years which had never been taken of or anything and sadly my friend thought it would be funny to pull at them to see me panic, but it just snapped off in there hands, was so upset. :(

The worst, I had to cut off my Wacken wristband of last year. It had a "one way" plastic thingy, and it started to be too tight on the wrist. Too bad! :(

But I'm thinking of putting them on my jacket. With all that I had to cut off in 11.

No but i flailed at them and drank lots of vodka.

Yeah its the worst feeling cutting them off, i had to cut a few when i went to hospital and the others then got too tight and cut into my wrist so needed to cut them off :(
Iv still got them all so was tempted to put them in a frame with photos of each year, putting them on a jacket would me pretty cool tho! :D
