Receive a job offer yesterday (interesting one). My resume will be presented today.

Since my friend (working colleague) is leaving in 2 weeks, I don't have the drive to stay.

The guy was really impressive. He was hire in our team 3y ago as a junior, I trained him and in my opinion, he is a senior now. But HR cannot raise his salary to at least the minimum of our bracket because they cannot give more than 10% raise each year (he was at the service desk...). So in my view, the company prefer losing an important asset and hiring someone else with a better salary with no knowledge of the company than giving him the minimum of our bracket salary.

At least, he is leaving for Ubisoft as a Dev BI. He did is college/university in Dev. So this job was made for him... and with a 30% raise compare to his current job. No wonder why he leave

Back in my hometown we always managed to get police to end our parties, so this all sounds really normal to me.

Me and my sister have had quite many parties here and so far police have never gotten in middle of it. But when we had a party at my dad and his wife's place there were police involved.

I'm not sure if I'm waiting this years Wacken even more than last years.. I've had couple really weird dreams about Wacken and I keep watching travel related videos on youtube. I'd watch Wacken videos but there isn't many beside the ones where bands play.

I wish I could go every year Oh well, at least I got to finally see Judas Priest here. I still haven't seen Dream Theater though because their asking price is always WAY too high. Even if La Brie could sing properly live, it would still be too high Same reason the first time I saw Cradle of Filth live was in Wacken, because their asking price for a show in a bar (!) was $90. Good thing I waited though; they were pretty awful.

Yeah i know all about not getting the pay that you deserve. ..
But ubisoft sounds good indeed. I pay lots of there games
