I said "see you tomorrow" to my colleague, but remembered when I got home and set my alarm appropriately. I arranged the day off with my supervisor, but no-one in my building was aware. I remembered for the first hour of being awake that I needed to call (but couldn't because the phones were diverted to the hospital), then forgot again until 11am

I think I'll take a few days off soon.
Feel like i can use a few days to do sobering fun.

I work in a classy area Apparently there was an altercation/assault across the road from where I work, after which the elderly victim had a heart attack and died 
Looks like my move to a Brisbane office next week will be better than I first imagined.
