Yep the weather is all over the place but thats quite normal for where I am, We start the day with rain then sun then snow then sun before the crazy wind...its a bit odd but im used to it
But i do have to agree it has been rather odd here too.

Yep, was a great trip! Except that we were in the Bible Belt, which meant no alcohol anywhere (not even in clubs) after 1 am, and public drinking was a no-go as well of course. So happy to live over here! Instead they had these huge banners with religious text all along the highway. My favourite one was "Lust will get you straight to hell!" I felt kinda motivated by that...

How did you manage?! Well we cant even drink in public here, well we can in the sly but your not meant too and can get in trouble...but I laugh in the face of danger Haa haa ha *lion king moment*

Yeah well I live in Finland so I'm used to the cold weather but I think usually at this point it's like 20 degrees and now it's only 13-17. And yup, that sounds pretty much like what we had today.
In the morning it rained quite a lot and it was really windy. Then the rain stopped and sun came out, but it was still really windy...

Well we solved it the Scottish way: Starting to drink as soon as the daily work was done, and then keep on going until last call.
Realized that I prefer any Scotch over even the best US Bourbon though.Public drinking laws are not really enforced in Edinburgh. Learned about their existence the hard way when I walked through Glasgow with a bottle of wine in my hand - hefty fine!
Funnily enough, we ordered a new flag for our camp just yesterday. No Lion King, but a similar covert alcohol connotation.

Stanley Cup final starts tonight... It'll be 3am here when the broadcast starts. Of course I have to watch it when my team is there but it might not be the best idea since I'm gonna go to a concert tomorrow.. Oh well

Hhahaha cant believe you did that!! Well iv managed to be sly and hide drinks...but normally if your hidden in the park or beach they dont find you ;D ...unless iv just grown up to be a ninja drinker (Why is this not an alestorm song)

Americans call all Scottish Whisky Scotch - I know the good stuff, trust me!
I used to live in Berlin, where you can virtually drink around the clock. Be it 3am, 5am, 9am, noon or afternoon, there's always a bar (and usually a club) that's open, and noone cares about public drinking. There you have to be self-regulated. Had to adapt to a different style in Scotland!
