As of when is 5/5 a holiday?
OK, this year, 'cause it is 70 years ago, but as far as I heard, it's just rumours that 5/5 is an official day off in other years! (and I remember 5 years ago, where some had to work)

it's a free day every 5 years. since it's 2015 this year, it's a free day.

In Finland they want to move all public holidays that are on weekdays to weekends. Doesn't really surprise me.

Eh, I don't know in which country you were brought up, but I have never had 5/5 as a holiday, except in a lustrum year. Must've been in the mid 70s then.
