I've had quite a few people in recent years (mostly when I'm over there) ask me how I say my name, which kind of confuses me a bit (better than the comments I got growing up ). I really don't care how people pronounce my first name.

Anyway, I guess it's better that I ask you how to say your name here, rather than my avoiding the use of proper nouns so as to avoid embarrassment in real conversations Otherwise I might end up saying "oi hey you"

apparently pronouncing my name wrongly is mainly a concern of native speakers of the English language, so yeah I'll teach how to pronounce it heuheuheuheuheu otherwise "oi hey you" sounds lovely to me

Are you specifically referring to my name or are you referring to yours? The "worst" attempts at pronouncing my name sounded more like "Alice". I'm sure I pronounce yours and AG's names wrong without thinking about it

Urgh, I woke up around 6am today thinking I had to work and panicked because my alarm was not set for 6:30am, so I did and closed my eyes. A few minutes later I realised it's Saturday and turned it off again

Mine. But especially my last name. Even the flemish have difficulties with it, though it supposed to be the same language!
