Lovely snow/rain = everything was covered with ice this morning and it will all freeze solid tonight so it's going to be a skating rink tonight to get home! This is what it looked like from my bus stop this morning on the way to work!

I guess somehow not everyone got the memo, or indeed not everyone thought this applied to them. After what happened at work yesterday, I told the girls at the front that if my phone rang, to take messages no matter how urgent it was (I even gave an example of what "urgent" might mean). Basically I didn't want to talk to anyone at all ever about anything related to the job I was covering until my supervisor was back from leave. One of the consultants made me leave a meeting to take his call anyway

so I was feeling absolutely terrible in the middle of the night and decided to take some painkiller, and right at that moment some shit happened in our network which made my have to do some work at 4 am...
needles to say that this morning I felt absolutely horrible and stayed home. now I'm feeling a bit better, I can keep my food inside and all.
just need to figure out what I wan't to eat now, because I am hungry, but I don't want to eat something that's to nasty to puke out again, because you know when you're ill you never know if it stays in for long...
