It's been a long time since we've seen you here! Are you (all) ok out there?

Oh yes, We're fine. I just had a new job started and I just don't have the ability anymore to be online as much. Just slowed a little for Christmas so I thought I would check in and see how everyone was doing here How has things been? You had a new job too right?

It crashed after 2(!) days already. One was unable/unwilling to do adaptations, so I could work normally. Exit job. And back to the drawing table.

But apart from that, I'm in good shape (again). Did Eindhoven Metal Meeting 2 weeks ago, and now it's the most boring time of the year. (see sig)

But I'll survive that as well.

Hypocrite, everyone wants peace, but the next day, they slaughter each other again, as if nothing ever happened. It's either this or that, but trying to achieve something just for one day... sorry. That's a no-go.

Plus the played happiness... I'm no fan of such things.

I like Christmas. It's a good excuse to see my extended family all together in one spot, plus I get a new wardrobe (apart from tour shirts and times of desparation, I never buy my own clothes) and new movies, and let's not forget 3 extra days off work in a row. The bonus of having Christmas in Australia is that it's stone fruit season

We also have birthdays for that. And since we don't celebrate Christmas like the Anglo-Saxon community, gifts don't play a role either. We have St. Nicholas who brings them. (December 5)
I'm talking aamtt NL.
In Belgium it's more like the Anglo-Saxon countries.

It's just the term for fruit with giant hard seeds and unfortunately they are only available in the summer months (mangos, cherries, nectarines, etc.)

There's a difference in pronounciation between Dutch and German. It's hard to explain though, especially since I do not know how to write in phonetic .

But... maybe you shouldn't learn German, but Dutch!
