That's what I said and I wouldn't be doing it at all if he wasn't offering to pay for it. It's because he travels a lot for business and hates to be out of touch with me when I am not close to a computer so this way he can talk to me whenever he wants

Another suggestion that can work for you... he can also use Skype/google credit to call you on your phone(with no internet) using the internet from his phone/computer. That's pretty cheap as well.
