Yeah dude ... We've been marking off the days on Our calendar since purchasing the festival tickets the moment they went on sale back in August !

And I still have to buy my tickets for Party-San!

Well, I reckon I have to buy my ticket for Wacken in August as well then! Great!

Coincidentally ... We are as well. However, We are spending a couple of days in Hamburg after the festival as well as day in and around Dublin before and after Germany.

That will be fun. Seems an odd choice though! Is there a particular reason for going to Dublin? Or is it one of those random situations where the flight was cheaper than direct (like the time I flew to Bangkok via Köln!).

It is an odd choice indeed but it is out of circumstance. I live in Newfoundland, Canada and the flight options are rather limited .... basically, flying into Dublin is the cheapest (and shortest) option .. then connect to Hamburg, Germany.

I suspected it was something like that. We were looking at camping in Canada this year (we're not - we're doing Wacken instead!) and one of the best options was to fly in via Dublin.

It's a very nice city. A pity hotels are so expensive though.

Next weekend, I'll be in Den Bosch (nl) for Bevrijdingsfestival.
