Bad sitting/sleeping posture and bad mattress would be my two guesses. But yeah, back issues are the worst. I feel it's much more feasible to work around a broken hand for example, with some inconvenience, but back troubles are really hard to deal with.

I feel sort of lost on the weekends. I love being at work. :\

I wish I could work 40 weekends a year and then take 3 months straight off every year to travel around the world and do other outdoorsy things.

I don't mind being at work, but I love not being at work :p

I've lost my last year wacken wristband somewhere in my apartment... It's good that I know it's somewhere here but then again there's so many places here it could be. I wanna find it :(

your healthycare system makes no sense to me whatsoever :ugly:

We do have a public health system and anyone with a Medicare card or reciprocal agreement can use it for free. It's paid for by a percentage of our income tax. Rich people ($90,000+ per year for singles or $180,000+ per year for couples) are taxed higher if they don't have private insurance. The trouble with public system, especially hospitals, is that waiting lists (e.g. surgery and dentistry) are long and there are often problems with bed shortages. Medicare does cover at least a percentage of medical bills (sometimes all, especially for the poor) e.g. doctor visits, blood tests and imaging. Other medical services in the public sector are also covered by Medicare.

People with money are encouraged to get private insurance to take pressure off the public system. Most people (including me) get cover that is limited to services they think they'll use, because full cover for everything is very expensive.
