I'm going in for a minor operation on Friday. Just got a 'financial consent form' for the anaethetist - $365 AFTER public and private health insurance! For the whole thing, they may expect me to cough up over $600 out-of-pocket. I'm imagining what it would be like them to scam someone else to pay for their boat and walk out. :p

I thought you lived in Australia! Those number looks an awful lot like the US. Either way, hope the procedure goes painlessly.

I guess I have to go to doctor soon again. Idk why the idiot physiotheraphist thought that some stretching and taking ibuprofein three times a day for three days would make it better...
So, physiotherapy for sore throat didn't add up, so I had to go back a few pages to figure out that it was back issues. If it's spine related (and not muscle/nerve related), I highly recommend investing into a spine decompression device.

Helped a lot with my dad's back troubles a few years ago and recently with mine as well.

Looks something like this :

I found out the strangest of ways that a woman who works on my side of the building recently died. I heard no talk of it in the office or anything, just happened to notice a collection box for flowers sitting on one of the lunch room tables, and then an email with the funeral arrangements.

Also the mob I work with in town were being total dicks for no reason. For the first time ever, I made a complaint to my boss. :D

that's expensive

And that is strange indeed!

Is that just for training? Can't possibly imagine any other use cases in locations as remote as that.

Is was training in extreme conditions yes. But they call that a sovereintgy operation, to show posible invaders AKA Russia that our army is that far up north and ready to defend the land. It will never happen, no one wants to fight at -60, the enemy #1 there is the cold :p

Honestly I have no idea why my back is so bad. At least because I'm so short.
