Was that Rammstein by any chance? Because if it was, well, sucks to be you if you were late :ugly: But yeah, I expected no less at the time, so I allowed as much time as possible that didn't have me feeling hungry/thirsty/sore/desperate for a potty break during the show :p What does make me furious though, is when I see official footage of the show, and there's that guy at the front playing with his phone!

The only time I have seen Rammstein was at Wacken. I probably never would have seen them otherwise. Good band, cheers Wacken :D

I have seen them several times, the first time being at Dynamo Open Air, where they weren't a hype yet. (After Sehnsucht I think)
The last time was at Hellfest last year, and I was in time, so no worries.

Massive bands do work at Wacken. Iron Maiden at Wacken 2015 turned an average album into a great album for me.

King Diamond's albums are written with theatrics in mind, so any live show with the King means you can't look away. Wacken 2014

Blind Guardian at Wacken 2015, I couldn't hear it very well. Some sort of sound problem?

I saw them one other time at Big Day Out in 2011. It's a one day, 50 000 capacity, alternative music festival. The official bunch of tickets sold within 30 minutes :( They always reserved a few thousand for second-chance draws and that's how I managed to get mine. I only watched 4 bands that day: The Kidney Thieves (now Osaka Punch, my favourite local band), John Butler Trio (so I could be at the stage in time to line up for the 'D' barrier), Iggy and the Stoogers (just waiting an eternity to see Rammstein) and of course, Rammstein. Even though the set started at dusk, it had been a sunny 31 degrees that day and Australian fans are crazy in the pit because we aren't so spoilt for choice. The heat was pretty brutal in the pit and I lasted until Feuer Frei before I felt like I was going to pass out, and some people around me helped me (and many others) to crowd surf out. Good fucking times :D Fuck I love Rammstein :D
