Mom said that I should get rubber boots because then my feet won't hurt so bad. I guess it depends on the brand and also what socks you have on.

And actually AP and Loco camped quite close.

rubber boots are totally awesome when you're standing in the mud.
But once you walk on a hard road they aren't as awesome anymore.

But at wacken they are useful more often than not

Yeah I guess. If it was like 2014 I'd use regular shoes like vans. Cheap version of those though.

Exactly! I was on mud while walking to destination. After that, I had to stand for many hour at the same place.

yeah, when there's no mud I just wear sneakers.

Just like I did in 2014. I walked a lot, probably 8-10 km per day and never has issue with my feet. I'm used to walk a lot during winter so not a problem for me... but I need good shoes.

Same here.. I thought it was the jet lag but I think I got a cold... probably from the plane.. My throat hurt ... dammit
