well you could even get a camper and fill it up with explosives and than crash into the main entrance when there's a large queue... I mean, they don't check inside your car/camper...

doesn't concern me either since I never have my backpack with me. but still. I just hink this kind of stuff is an overreaction.
It's limits the freedoms that we have and it's only gives a false sense of safety, and it can be really annoying to people who normally do bring backpacks. and else this will probably mean that the security checks will take longer.

Also there are problems like one man said that his mom needs to bring her medication with her but she can't put them in her pockets.

I have used backpack every year and I even made small one with patches etc to have in Wacken. But I just use something else then.
