But yeah, don't know really what I can do about since my friends seem to be working all the time or are just for some reason not ready to do anything.. Other than get drunk.

Well that's how you feel now, things can change a lot in 5 or 10 years.
there's a video (in dutch) where people are asked about mobile phones 20 years ago and everybody was like "no, who needs that.?" and "if people want to call me they can call me on my house phone" and stuff like that.
Do you know anybody that doesn't have a mobile phone nowadays? I can't think of anybody at least.
