uhm, in efteling it's very much a thing! I've been there with 3 guys in wheelchairs and I could skip the line with them every time. you actually had to enter through the exit. and it worked everytime during the entire day.

3 hours seems really short for an amusement park. I usually take the whole day, from morning till evening.
Also, it helps if you take some handicapt people with you, because than you can skip the lines

That tells something about how big hockey is over here I guess

I think that is the time they give for companies. Usually every of those is 3 hours. They obviously want people to buy wristbands for the rest of the day.

No I do think they have to pay of course but I think they won't let them book it for longer than 3 hours. Not sure though. But everyone of those company days that I've heard of have been 3 hours.

I still think that's a weird cultural difference
over here it's either the whole day or nothing. and I have a hard time getting my head around the fact that anybody would come up with the idea to have a 3 hour entrance ticket. But I guess that's because I have never heard of it before.

Well that's how it is here. It was open 10-13 for the company I work for. After that from 13 -> it was open for everyone. When the 3 hour time was ending, we had an option to buy a ticket for the rest of the day and we would've gotten it for half of the usual price.

It was awesome. The Vancouver Canucks won both games (2:1 against Anaheim und 6:2 against Calgary).
