It really annoys me that we are basically bankrupting our kids before they even can get a job. A lot of kids are coming out of university thousands of dollars in debt already. I am STILL paying student loans from 10+ years ago.

Only with people who know you and appreciate your 'humor'. If some guy I didn't know came to me and the first few words from his mouth were vulgar I don't think that I would take the time to even get to know him at all - even though - I - can be quite a trashmouth

Well I'm lucky that I don't have to pay to get to a school but some of the books cost so much. Also it's not helping that I have to buy all my books (meaning my dad won't buy any of them) and I don't think I can afford them all.

If you know anyone in the same class maybe you can borrow a book from them and just photocopy the relevant pages until you can get one for yourself? I know that most of the books I bought we didn't really even use very often - I don't know if its the same now. Or maybe you can find someone who took the class last year with a copy they would sell to you to recover some of their costs? Does the school have a used book program?

I don't know anyone who goes to that school. And I can afford these first books but not so sure about the ones after that. We'll see.
And no, I don't think we have used books program... But I can't buy used books from some shops.
