Also I say September, because I've decided I'll try to read at least one chapter a day, I've marked where I'd like to be at the end of each week at the very least, and that's 8 weeks of reading to get through

My goal is to read all five books first, then start watching the other 4 seasons that I haven't seen yet, maybe over the Christmas break. I was going to read a book then watch a season, but when I found references as far forward as book 3 in the first season, I thought it'd be best if I tried reading them first, then watch the show. Maybe then I could make more sense of what I've read

Maybe. I should buy those books in Finnish.. Nowadays I like to read in English more but TSOIAF has so difficult language in it..
