I think especially a lot of people I always freak out when I see the line near the showers, but then I see most of them are lined up for the toilet, being precious and want to flush their waste

just don't shower during a festival. everyone stinks anyway. so it's just wasted effort.

I just go if I need to wash my hair. My dermatitis plays up really bad if I leave my hair to get too dirty

bah. okay, i have short hair.

i mustn't shower every day. if i do, my skin gets nasty. heard that was called shower excem. or like that.

At least we had a shower before leaving Wacken last year. Otherwise they would not let us on the campground in Sankt Peter Ording....

before leyving or just after leaving is quite a good idea, but as i said: showering during a festival where everyone has a certain basic level of dirtyness seems pointless to me. i did it one time in wacken 2013 when i looked like a mud golem after anthrax and didn't want to go into my sleeping bag like that... but i couldn't come up with other reasons which would bring me into a shower then.

If I recall correctly, I showered twice at Wacken last year. Baby wipes just weren't cutting it, plus I had to catch a bus, spend about 10 hours on ?4 trains/platforms, and then catch a flight before I could see a shower again.

And itˋs very clean and tidy there...and other visitors would not very pleased if two dirty , stinky people come in.

I'm sure the staff of the 4* hotel felt the same way about me after Wacken 2012 Too bad for them though; I had it pre-paid
