Perhaps a few too many songs off of Gayman, but not a bad set list at all! Wish they wouldn't drop "Stand Ablaze" from the setlist...that was the highlight of the Colony tour show (their first American tour) for me.

They played here a week or two ago, with Dark Tranquility and Sentenced. I really, really, really, really, really wish I hadn't missed that show...AARRRRGGGH!!!

@Iscariot: I am not narrowminded, I used to LOVE In Flames.. but since I heard their last album they can just suck it.. I mean, that is my definition of wannabe-metal-trying-to-hit-the-mainstream-music... and his voice sounds extremely retarded!

he should let the Dark Tranquillity guy sing.. it's a shame that only Projector contains clean vocals... In Flames need screams, Dark Tranquillity the clean vocals... that'd be sooo much better :)

I have no problem with In Flames trying to break into the mainstream. After putting out five albums and being at the front of the melodic death metal scene, you can't blame them for wanting to seize the opportunity to get REALLY big. And even watered-down In Flames would sound better than everything else on the radio like Pile of Shitt (I mean Puddle of Mudd) and Papa Roach.

I just wish that their "mainstream" effort wasn't so...dull. I mean..."Cloud Connected" sucks! Where's the chorus? Where's the climax? They could've written a much more exciting album and still gone "mainstream". And now I think they've REALLY shot themselves in the foot. Too bad.

I'm not comparing In Flames to Puddle of Mudd or crap like that... of course they're still better than those bands! I also don't blame them trying to hit the mainstream. but what bothers me most is that they do it in such an obvious and lousy way... I mean, those vocals blew me away - unluckily in a negative way.

in my opinion a band like Pain is more mainstream than In Flames, but still they're a whole lot better (at least when you compare both bands' current albums). so a band can be as big as they want to be... as long as their music is good I don't care...

They have been better, but hey, you can think a band can do same from the start until today..

but yes they are a bit worse, but as from the setlist, it can be a good concert the 31st anyway ;)
