I think no matter what kind of tent you get, the sun shining on it WILL heat it up without much help from the ventilation unless you put it under a party tent or something.
That's a good deal!
Perhaps you're more tolerant of heat + sun than me
he he.. yes.. perhaps I'm more tolerant to heat and sun because i live in a extreme hot city .. the problem to me is the cold... sometimes around 2:00 am - 3:00 am the cold in wacken is really extreme (to me) , especially after rain
Come up here during the winter

I guess so. Unless I were to find a magical sun-reflecting tent
But yes, even UV-protective tents likely don't do much to regulate tent temperature.
Hehe, tent-perature
Main problem of Quechua 2secs and similar ones is the packed size... too big for a standar luggage...
Yeah lol.
So, I would just get any tent and just invest in putting it in the shade. Like, under a party tent or something.
What's a party tent? One of those open-air tents that people put over picnic benches?
Yes, I've seen those before! That's what I thought.
Good luck getting one on an airplane from Canada, though... along with my tent and all the other stuff!
Guess I will just have to cook
I'm bringing one this year from the USA
Leaving tents at the garbage sucks!
In 2008, our first year, we had a tent from Aldi..with two sleeping chambers..just for us two the other ones had their own.
Last year, we had such one:
