the billing at the moment is very good, but there aren`t big headliners like maiden, motörhead, manowar.....

Wacken isn't a headliner festival. Although that is what they (Holger/Thomas) say. So you don't actually have to count on that. Motorhead played last year so I don't know how much is true of that.:)

But still no surprise :) It better be good because they make some of us curious like little children. :)

COME ON WACKEN! TELL US!!!! WE NEED TO KNOW!!

Mayhem would be excellent
Manowar would be gay
some sort of reunion band would be absolutely fucking great (Carcass, Suffocation, Angel Corpse)
But i still reckon it might be Judas priest or is Halford not playing at wacken at all this year?

Dave Lombardo is the actual slayer drummer. He'll be until they can find a full-time drummer (Paul Bostaph had an elbow injury)

For me that would be the best surprise!!

Yes, it must be a band even better than Haggard, because they were confirmed a few days ago but that wasn't the surprise.

I'm getting angry  HOLGEEEEER!!!!

yeah but I can imagine that the big big surprise is a bunch of bands like Iced Earth, Rose Tattoo, etc... but I don't really like any of the bands that another dude in the Q&A section mentioned (or was it the same one? don't remember).. so that would be a real eye-watering surprise for me oh woohoo

ok, Rose Tattoo rule but they played the WOA two years ago, just like Iced Earth...

I saw Iced Earth a few times (I used to LOVE them) but I must say that gig by gig they got worse and worse (their gig in Wacken 2000 was RIDICULOUS)... so I really don't need to see them again... and they wouldn't play Dante's Inferno anyway, so what the fuck?!
