Wacken isn't a headliner festival. Although that is what they (Holger/Thomas) say. So you don't actually have to count on that. Motorhead played last year so I don't know how much is true of that.

yeah but I can imagine that the big big surprise is a bunch of bands like Iced Earth, Rose Tattoo, etc... but I don't really like any of the bands that another dude in the Q&A section mentioned (or was it the same one? don't remember).. so that would be a real eye-watering surprise for me oh woohoo

I saw Iced Earth a few times (I used to LOVE them) but I must say that gig by gig they got worse and worse (their gig in Wacken 2000 was RIDICULOUS)... so I really don't need to see them again... and they wouldn't play Dante's Inferno anyway, so what the fuck?!

I have seen them in february this year for the first time. It was ... i can`t describe.
So i wish, that they are the surprise.
