yeah arbeit macht frei.... ive got this book in belrin, its a popart book, it says

"both inevitable and desirable is as terrifying for 21st century as arbeit nacht frei was to the 20th

I have been to some camps and I learned a lot more there than in school..
When given the question in class: "How many of you have visited a camp" some people held their hands up

those went to Theresienstadt on their class-trip to Prag and they had no choice. I had been to 3 and all of them together on family-trips so hmm...

Whenever they showed pictures on documentaries in school I was almost the only one not crying.
Reason: Those pictures were not close those they have in the camps and

ahhh yeah i know what you mean..... Sachsenhausen was fuuucking terrible :(
and it says there was hundreds bundled into one small room.. and a huuuuuge underground room to store the bodys with a ramp for the wheel barrels

i felt very very low after that trip and had loooads of thought in my mind about the conditions and stuf...

I read there that they found bodies in the nearby forest and a massgrave.. and they thought they were prisoners of the nazis..
The ywere wrong, it came out after investigations that the bodies were germans so..

The Soviets used Sachsenhausen as a camp too..

A bit naive thinking that only Nazis were cruel..

yes your right that true!!!

cos Camp XRAY, in USA...after sept 11th...you know that camp.. there holding prisions...and soon there gonna make execution room :eek: :(:mad:

and after WWII germany had a huuuuuge fall from grace, cos the hitler thought they could conquer europe
but sadly not..and be VERY strictly controled by the soviets

i saw some stuff on the berlin wall.....the no-man land was HUUUGE anyone who passed that abd lived i bow down to them with great honour :)

A true story and very interesting 2 episode'serie

It is about an escape...

i bought a looooong post on the wall...it about a meter long and stuck it on my walll....its got looooads of gradffeti

its a museum.... had a small security check point... had to pay to see it and had my bag search :rolleyes: :p

it had a car where a family hide in the boot to get across the EAST to WEST Berlin border - thats just crazy..one country has a border into another city.... :eek:
thats why i love berlin....:)
