You can bring glass bottles when you arrive. But you cant buy some in Wacken anymore.

If I'm not mistaken, you can have small camping stoves/bunsen burners and barberques... but you can't have big open fires.

For years our BBQ has been a copper firepit, looks like

we have had no problems - it does not even leave scorch marks on the grass where it is deployed.

I guess I should bring my folding barbecue, looks like

as a backup, if we are not allowed to use our firepit.

Glass bottles - beer - booze

You can bring glass bottles when you arrive. But you cant buy some in Wacken anymore.

Yes, we are fine with beer in cans.
But booze and a few other beverages are typically not available in cans.
Where possible we will select plastic bottles over glass bottles when we buy booze before going to W:O:A.

In the past glass bottles have rarely left the camp anyway
except once they're empty they go to the garbage skip.

when arriving by car. bring enough so that you won't
have to buy glass in the village. easy enough, isn't it?

Ja, liegt auch ein bisschen an der Formulierung. Und die ganzen Diskussionen darüber sind auf Deutsch. Aber hiermit sollte es geklärt sein, ja.

Then you have to take as much as posible with you when you arrive, because you cant buy any glass in Wacken anymore.

Well, mine is not that small and has a detachable lens, wich at normal festival would be seen as a "professional" one... DSLR.. think its "Spiegelreflexcamera" in German.
so, you still think i can bring it?? Maybe one of the admins can clearify it for me please? Thanks.
