City is too big for me. Too much traffic and so on.

I like the city for my normall daily life.
though I love the rural life for when I just want to enjoy being with special people and when I want to relax.

meet in the middle, on the outside of a (smaller) city. I would not want to live in a really big city, but something like Arnhem or Nijmegen is nice.
I step on my bike and get out of the city in no time here

The way to work (in a forest) ist short- not even 15 minutes.

The Hague is NOT a city but a "village". (it never obtained city rights)
And Grave (near Nijmegen) is a city, though it has not even 10k inhabitants (excluding Escharen and Velp N.Br)
