Yes.
Pretty much eveything except open fires and weapons are allowed on the camp grounds
But gas canisters, weber grills and similar are allowed for sure!

For example, leather bracelets with studs that are quite long are considered weapons.
I've never seen a medieval market in Wacken.
Though I haven't been the last 2 years.

No, the medieval event-area is new. Just simple booths with medieval stuff had been at the metalmarket since ever.
