Indeed, I still have only 3 bands that I didn't see at Wacken before and I'm really interested in. And still - there is not even one classical death metal band in the list. I hope those rumors about Unleashed are true.

For me it´s allready good, since im completely uninterested in Black. And I don´t necessarily need Death or Thrash, despite I quite like to listen to it sometimes.
Common man, are u serious? Is this 130-euro-20-years-Wacken-anniversary line-up? Pick any line-up from 2001 till 2008 - it will be much better then this year.
hey at least some bands are announced, and so far its still lookin ok to me, also I've not seen Doro before so will be nice to catch that part of the show, and despite their numerous appearances there I haven't watched Saxon before at Wacken so I think that'l be worth a look.
A single big black metal band would be nice, but if it can't be satyricon and it isn't immortal then I'd hope for Behemoth or Nile as Dimmu Are really a boring live band as someone else said earlier on this page I seen them twice and been very dissappointed both times.

You can ask about my sexuality my girlfriend when we gonna be camping. And lighten up, man. Don't take the gay thing seriously... so what if you did it once in college.
But seriously, bands like Axel Rudi Pell, Volbeat and GammaRay are the cheesiest acts on the Wacken list so far. They aren't even metal. Don't get me wrong - I have nothing against old veterans: I love Motorhead, I dig Maden, but Gamma Ray... I really tried listening to that. After fifth song I had feeling of wearing all pink and dancing with unicorns.
And fascism? Do you even know what does it mean?
