As far as I know, it's looking pretty good for Satyricon and Eluveitie (By the way, saw them last week...awesome, would be great to see them again.). I don't know about the others, but maybe...?

Eluveitie along with Immortal are my fav bands so if they get added I'l be over the moon!
Satyricon would be good also, the last album was pretty intense, and the last 2times I have seen them something has gone wrong
so it'd be nice to actually see them on a big stage with a full metal crowd and no technical difficulties!!!Thanks for that bit of info!

Ich hatte genau dieselbe Hoffnung. Egal - Pelztiere darf man knuddeln, völlig legitim.
1)It's an international festival for that -it is an international forum.Wacken is a german festival - noone can forbid me to speak my native language in a forum owned by germans.
2)Founder of this topic isn't an german-speaking person.
3)Line-up issue is relevant to all Wacken residents: germans and foreigners. So if you are want to say something - you should say so everybody will understand it.
4)When I hang around with people who do not know my mother tongue I always switch to english even when I'm speaking with a person who does speak my mother tongue.

As you may have noticed I speak english when something is more or less important. But when I´m goofing around in off-topic manner, I think it´s just okay to speak whatever language i´d like to speak.
1) Wacken is still on german ground
2)Yes, i´ve noticed
3)Jepp, but there where nothing that was important. Just some whining around in german.

Does any body out there have a clue of when the FULL line up will be revealed ?
I read somewhere else that the orga wanted the wait until the fest was sold out ( or at least still less than 5000 tickets to sell ) to give the big names . By the way, the fest is sold out for months now. I guess every body bought their tickets trusting the orga to get a killer line-up which is obviously not the case for the moment. So I don't understand at all what prevents the orga the give us the full bill.
I guess the only thing is that they don't have them ...I think the thing's didn't worked the way they wanted ... hope i'm wrong

I think the line-up so far looks pretty solid. It's just the lack of announcements and lack of explanation for this that sucks.
Might be ok, if you like this softer kind of music. But I have the impression that most of the people here rather like the really extreme music. And that's what's still missing so far.
Let's just say there were personal problems between Satyr and the orga. Dunno what exactly but he got banned from the festival for the future.

I do not speak german (yet... I am learning!) but he makes a fair point! Download festival in UK Forums is international also but evveryone speaks english because the festival is in the UK.
Also its the tragedy of the commoness of the English language means that if English is your first language then you dont have to learn another language because so many people round the world speak it.... In my case though makes me feel ignorant if I go somewhere an can't even ask for basics or say please/thank you in a different language, that said learning German as me an my gf plan to move and live over there.
Back to the topic.....
Satyricon banned?! wtf thats ridiculous they're one of the best Black Metal bands on the planet....
Well they'd best sort something out but adding another emo band is NOT the way forward... this may wel be the last sell out Wacken if it keeps up, since well all payed the increased ticket prices.
As someone already said, there are a lot of good bands announced but its jus missing a few big heavy hitters and way too many bands!
