Be forewarned, dark shadows are circling around this grim chapel….
"…For Thine Is the Darkness", das dritte Full-Length-Album der spanischen Death Metaller GRAVEYARD, wird am 29. April 2016 über War Anthem Records als CD und LP veröffentlicht.
Der Nachfolger zu "The Sea Grave" (2013) wird 17 Tracks beinhalten und verspricht das bisher dunkelste Material der Band, mit einigen Sprüngen über den üblichen Rahmen in Richtung Death/Doom und Heavy Metal.
Aufgenommen und produziert wurde in den Moontower Studios von Gitarrist Javi Félez, für das Mastering war Patrick W. Engel (Temple of Disharmony) zuständig. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Daniel Corcuera.
Gitarrist Javi kommentiert das neue Album wie folgt: "’...For Thine Is the Darkness’ is probably our most mature and personal album. It is more atmospheric, epic, grandiose and majestic than anything we have done before. The new album is also our most original work in terms of departing form the usual "old school Death Metal" formula. It's maybe the purest Death Metal music we have ever written. Traditionally, the third record is a milestone in the career of a band and we honestly believe that '...For Thine Is the Darkness' is up to the expectations.”
