Ok... on topic...

I've been doing some Mezcal homework during the holidays.... I'm doing the paperwork to become a legal importer/exporter... that's on track and should be completed soon.... waiting for the government autorization, but that's not big deal... it just takes a little time....

I tried to contact some Mezcal destilleries via E-mail, but I haven't got any significant answear... I hope it is because of the holidays... but I'm really planning on a visit to some of those destilleries to make the contact in person.,..... And so far that's what I've been doing ........

What do you think??? any sugestions????

well, that sounds really good. I´m actually getting a bit ashamed because we are THREE persons and didn´t manage too much about that thing and you ONE SINGLE person are coming over with such a cool result
So - which step could be next for us? Ideas?

Next steps... I dunno..... Maybe some training about importing goods from Mexico... I don't know if there's an special law for importing alcohol in Deutschland.... I'm trying to find exporting information for Mexico.... and so on... There's a lot of work ahead...

Thats about what I wanted to say, but I didn´t dare

We need a licence for the import, a homepage, a bit startingmoney, somewhere where we can place the Mezcal, connections, a name, and that name must be spred fast......

Yeah I know I wanted to phone up Lucy..but somehow I didn't
but I also think that we should check things out around here and then see how it has to funktion with both laws and the likes...??

I think it would be too expensive too rename the Mezcal, so we just need a name for our company

Yeap, that sounds fine for me. We can be on an "information gathering" mode for a while, until we have laws, distilleries, where to sell the stuff. It's a good time of the year to start this... just after the hollidays.

I'm also thinking we could import/export some other goods from Mexico to Germany and viceversa, what do you think???

A german name because it would be easier to understand for the most or an english/spanish one because of showing the exotic about Mezcal?

What could be real a good business is the Oaxaca-chocolate unbelieable cheap and even better in taste for us europeans
