Actually, I sort of like the hype that followed the contest. Amusing, to say the very least.

On the one hand - the CD/shirt prices climbing above 20 euro/piece [WTF?]...... and on the other hand, the bitching about "how could this happen, isn't that a sign of cultural decline, etc, etc?" [double WTF???] It did happen, people; it is the existing fact now. Grow the fuck up and deal with it.
