Ok :)

Over here they vary alot when you compare beer sold in a glass...
If you buy a bottled beer, most places keep sort of the same prices, but when it comes to a glass of beer it's between 2 € and 6 € per glass...

I would guess that if one could find belgian beer in a glass, say 40 cl, it would not be less than 4 €, most likely closer to 5 €

Even though it is always horrible when it happens to oneself, it can sund quite funny when someone else is telling about their experiences :p

Hey, this wasn't horrible to me, I was sleeping the whole time! :D

Well, ok, it's kind of embarassing, but those dudes have gone through enough embarassing shit as well :D

LOL @ strip story :D

Eh, yeah, 2€ per bottle seems like a very good price for Sweden, I haven't been there, but seeing as though I pay 2€ for a bottle of beer (30cl) in one of the local metal pubsas well, it's ok.

The only difference is that the bottled beer (Hertog Jan) is way better than the one from the tap (Heineken), so that's an advantage too :)

Other than that, most of the beer prices in pubs are the same here (1.50€ for a small glass), but some places are cheaper. The beer in Wacken wasn't very cheap, but well, do-able, and being able to buy cheap beer outside the festival ground helped a lot :)

Beer you buy from the supermarket can be very cheap though (the cheapest brand is at 0.37€ for a 0.5l can, and it's drinkable too).

Eh...

Well, not to make you feel bad, here's one of my drunken stories (posted it on some other forums as well), from WACKEN. Well, it's not very drunken, but at least it's cool :):

On friday, after Warlord, I went back to th tent after eating something, and I went to bed at somewhere around 4 AM

At some point, I woke up, and it was light outside, and I looked at my watch (which sadly I don't own anymore, I guess it fell out of my pocket while sleeping to Immortal :D), and it said 5:49, I checked again to see if maybe it had been set to AM/PM time instead of 24h, but both said 5:49, naturally though, and probably because I had a lack of sleep (nooooo), and also likely somewhat intoxicated, I thought that it was actually 17:49, and that my watch was messed up. I warned my tent partner (well, it was his tent) that we had slept through a lot of bands (I was completely shocked of course), but he slept on, so I thought fuck it, I'll go and see them myself. (Oh yes, I also heard music playing after I woke up, so I thought it was a band). So I went out of the tent, and it was fucking cold (but I didn't get the hint), also, the camping was deserted (I thought: well, they're obviously all seeing the bands playing). I went to some neighbours and asked what time it was, and they said 17:49 (well, 17 something, it was ov course some minutes later then, I don't remember all the exact times). They were probably having a great at me afterwards :D

Anyway, I went to the festival terrain, seeing a red sun low in the sky, by then I was already beginning to suspect something. So I went to the terrain, saw some drunk germans, and I was pretty sure by then that it was morning rather than afternoon, but just to check I asked some german whether the sun was going up or down, and he said up. Well, I didn't really feel like getting in the tent again, so I bought a beer and checked the time (drinking had officially commenced at 6:16 AM, I think the drinking ended somewhere 8 AM the next day, ten minutes before I had to get up again ;)). I talked to some australian guy called Blake, watched how they pulled a huge BG flag up next to the stage.

Also, at that point I saw a german guy laying in a trash container which was filled to the brim with beer cans, he was lying there, moving his hands and legs and throwing the cans like he was a kid in a pool of balls (you know, things like these: http://rijk.op.het.net/annelies/images/ballenbak40.jpg ). Anyway, then he tried to get out, and of course fell out. He crawled up again, and started to try to throw beer cans back in the container, the cans all hit the container (ie, he was aiming roughly 1.5 meters too low), then he took a trash bag full of cans and tried to throw it in, again hitting the container and the low fence in front of the container, with all the cans spilling out over the ground. Then both he and I went away, but I saw him sleeping next to his (or a random) tent later that day ;)

Anyway, after that, I decided to go into the village and got me some money there and ate breakfast, and well, then the day more or less started :)
