both sucked arse.
Fifth Element just sucked a lot. Ghost World has nothing in its plot that is implied in the name of the film. It's just about a classic present-day Lolita plot but it ends when the girl dumps the old man...blah, boring!

I saw Clerks 2 today.All I can say is FUCKING KEVIN SMITH IS BACK!
I loved it.
There was 1 scene that involved a donkey that I turned my head.


He even apologized for Jersey Girl in the end credits.

This was never here at the theatres but I rented a little Aussie flick called Castle. A lot of dry, subtle humour but it was hilarious!

Clerks II. I have always loved Kevin Smith movies because of how layered they are and the way he winds everything back like one big circle. This did not disappoint.
The surface of the Donkey Scene was bad but not THAT bad. It was used as a metaphor and no more perfect one could have been found! (Kevin smith after all is great with metaphors) GREAT pivatol scene! The opening metaphor was pretty funny too. The metaphor for the movies plotline hits you the first few seconds but not until after the movie do you know it.
Some of the cameos were great and the full cirlce effect is marvelous. Elias is a doll in the innocent, clumsy puppy way-got to love Elias. He had to be my favourite new charectar.
Any movie that makes the Stuffy Tie Professional critics walk out after the first 40 minutes (and it had not even reached full Offend All The Weak potential at that point!) is a great movie! That the movie was made in order to complete a promise shows that despite the great raunchy humour Smith is a great guy. (and there is even a glimpse of his daughter )

The polished version was good but Mark Walberg could never excell in his role like Michael Caine did. And the better version was english cast so I prefer the old one.
