Has anyone else noticed the amount of sex spam polluting the threads?

Did you know that gay and gai in french sound the same ?

"gay" means gay, it comes from english

"gai" means happy in french

There are people in France with "Gay" in familiy name probably coming from gai. There was an american company that has changed the name of a street naming "gay" since their local adress was in this street.

That was the cultural moment.

There's still a major street in downtown Baltimore called "Gay Street". One can only wonder.

I once saw the headline off of a London newspaper released just after the end of WW2 that read:

"ALL ENGLAND IS GAY!"
