To get back on the subject, I'm unfamiliar with the latest situation in Wacken, as I haven't been there for 3 years, so if anyone has any ideas for a place where we can meet? Preferably some sort of beer garden outside the camping/festival area. Apparently there's a beer garden near the bus station. Any other suggestions?

how about the second beer garten? security used to be less tight there. but no idea how it is nowadays.
It seems to be in a controlled area as well. Thus, no own drinks in there, so I am told.
