It'll probably happen in Germany too, but I'll enjoy the side-effects as long as they're there and then quit the country if need be

Not a lick. We were in financial trouble long before that though. Let's just put it this way: in 2000, before Bush took office, I got a $600 tax refund from the govt in April. in 2001, his first year as Pres, when he announced his tax plan, I made the same amount of money, and ended up OWING the govt $100 in taxes. Taxpayer relief my ass.
