Well, Kölsch is a dialect from Cologne, but just what it sounds like compared to Hochdeutsch is hard to explain. You should listen to it then you'll know better.
There's also a beer from that region called Kölsch, but it sucks big time!

But he isn't always speaking Kölsch, at least in his show.
