yep anise it is. can't really say that I have certain feelings of love or hate towards the taste. but it's ok.

thats Raki, the turkish one, you ususally drink it mixed with water. Same for the french Pastis stuff, though its a bit more yellow I guess.
But all those boozes, Raki, Ouzo and Arak taste similar; Absinthe is something a bit more different cos there is a lot more spices than Anise in it, and usually its green

Yeah I thought so... every mediteran country has some kind of anise alkohol

and i personaly prefer absinthe without anise

i know i know, anise just takes over the taste, and in the end all you remember (if at all) is the taste of anise.
