replace "never heard of" with "underground true" :D

loooooooooooooooool :D

An all those asking for "trve" bands have now got what they wanted an probably still wont be happy lol!!!

I think there'l still be some pretty decent bands announced for this year!

I mean the big names are pretty damn big names! Maybe not in the genres some people are asking for, but machine head, heaven and hell, saxon are all festival / stadium show headliners, in flames, motorhead and running wild are all metal legends effectively. An huge bands like Doro, Hammer Fall, cult bands such as GWAR, and Amon Amarth coming in below them its not all bad my friends!

Still plenty of room for medium sized bands. I'm still holding out for arch enemy or after forever, stratovarios, poison black or something. I am sure JBO will get announced too! it almost seems ridiculous that they haven't been yet!

I don't remember anyone asking for underground bands... but rather for extreme big names...

maybe... not being an headliner doesn't mean being an underground act... but pessimism is high today...

and time flies... 94 days left is damn short to get those decent bands.

I really can't believe that a festival like Wacken doesn't bring in any good death metal band, specially when I think about German death Metal ... Necrophagist, Obscura, Centaurus A etc etc ... these are brilliant bands AND german bands, why don't they bill them ...

Understandable, if you consider the lack of "rather extreme" bands.

But Edguy would also be cool...I missed them in 2005 unfortunately. But you're right if you claim "no more power metal":D

And I just don't like Edguy und Stratovarius very much.. And yes, though I personnaly don't care for black und brutal death (and though I'm sorry for their fans), there could be more thrash and GOOD core aswell.

JBO would be great to see again they where fantastic in 2007 really good fun! and stratovarios where pretty good too, thought the sheer amount of crowd surfers did get annoying!

Mayhem I doubt will be there, last time I heard form any of their lot they where planning a finnish gig that got cnacelled and a south american tour through summer. would be good but unlikely!

didn't Mayhem just cancel their South America tour due to the pig flu? think I heard something like that. So maybe they're free for Wacken. :D
