I wanted - in a way sticking on-topic as describing what I am doing - to explain the forum tradition, that forum newbies "post" virtual beer as a welcome gift. By the way, the international forum is english-speaking most of the time, though less frequented.

*takesbeer* Franziskaner, great! :D Welcome to the forum! In general, this is the german-speaking part of the forum and some of the members may not understand you when you write englisch. If you go to the overview page, you will notice, that there is an international forum which mirrors exactly the categories this forum has, only it is usually less crowded. So, here german would be appropriate, in the other part english is common. But nobody punishes you for using english here, as you notice.

And sticking on-topic ain't mandatory either... :D

Sieht auch sehr gut aus, was Du schreibst. Meine Freundin versucht seit Jahren deutsch zu lernen, aber hier im Forum schrieb sie trotzdem englisch oder lässt mich jetzt übersetzen. ;)
