Yes just about ready to go, bought some Berrocca yesterday, the extra performance ones, guessing I may need them.
I have a few things coming up before I head over, a final Law exam in 3 weeks and then a few birthday parties and then Im off,
have four week leave and am desperate for a holiday

I will try and have an Aussie flag flying over my tent and will hopefully be next door to the forumers here otherwise I'll be all by myself

The tent I had last year was really cheap and I left it behind because it was so wet and I wouldn't be able to dry and and if it was covered in mould by the time I came back to Australia, they'd make me leave it in a quarantine bin, so I didn't want to carry it for another 4 weeks to do that.

I still need to get a tent for this year. Maybe I will buy the same cheap tent but this time for 2 people instead of 4. It will only be about $30.

I was also told we could get everything at the festival, as we are travelling around, my friend has a very small gas cooker she will take, but maybe check with the airlines as it may be illegal to take a filled gas bottle. maybe fill it when you get there?? Ask some of the germans where do they get their gas from, & if its easily obtainable?? Let me know!

Last year I had a hexi-burner. It's an army hiking stove for one person made out of zincalume which opens up and can hold one army plate. We bought a bbq at Walmart but it was a waste of money and effort as we used it once!

I tried the festival market once on the Thursday and was not happy. If you have the car, I suggest you get all your supplies at a supermarket before you hit Wacken. There's a supermarket in Itzehoe, but even that was jammed pack with festival people.

we will be flying into Frankfurt and have 2 days to get to Wacken so maybe we will go to the supermarket before we get there!!

i know i saw a little market in a fairly remote area of north berlin... like a cash n carry... but VERY cheap and open... i managed to get a few small vodka bottles for 1€ and a huge bottle of something REALLY strong for 10€...

I remember getting a bottle of something on the ferry back from France and drinking it like normal Vodka, well was I sick!! and as the party was in a house with one loo, I hogged it for a few hours!!hehehe saw the lining of my stomach that day!!!
