BFMV are most certainly NOT Emo. They or like it or not a Metal band. A different type of Metal than you obviuosly like. However, the fact remains - they are Metal. Saying otherwise is stupid.

If you've got the time to write huge diatribes when a band you don't like is announced then bully for you.

Me, I'll say they're crap, avoid them when they play and generally move on with my life. I shall be doing the same whenother shite announced bands like Cannibal Corpse and Norther play. Best form of prostest is to not turn up for their set,

Some people need to realise the world doesn't revolve around thier own personal music tastes and grow up. Either that or I'm sure theres probably a festival in some Lithuanians back garden comprising of only kvlt bands.

And that is my last say on the matter.

Listen to yourself. Your almost as foreign as a bullet fan would be on this very forum! Your standing up for them and not standing up for true metal. This is what i think is the biggest discrace about this disaster....and that is all these people who are not standing up for what this festival is all about. I'm not saying everyone should fucking rampage the stage and slit their throats, but fuck, your taking the piss out of people who are angry about the fact their festival is being taken the piss out of. Dude you may aswell go paint your nails black, gel half your hair over your face and wear your dads sunday shirt.

funny then if machine head got so many bad things said about them why were they voted the best band of 2005. strange really.

Whether you call them "emo" or not, they're still confirmed for a metal festival. Your words are wasted.
As are all words threatening to bottle their heads in, too.
No matter how many threats they get from this forum or people bitching about them playing, they are still going to go up onstage and perform.

Best thing to do is go to another stage, get another beer or just have a mid-day sleep while they're onstage.

I'm just hoping they get an early slot so their performance is over and done with, and we can enjoy the rest of the festival.

A thought occurs, what will BfmV do when they're not playing? Socialise with the other bands? I'd like to think that they'll be treated with disdain, at best. Some bands must dream of playing Wacken, whereas I doubt that Bullet had heard of it until it was offered to them. Imagine having to be the band that play before them, knowing that Bullet will get a higher slot...

this fest is a rarity for me in the fact that this year it has more than 2 bands that i absolutley must see. Normally im lucky if there are 2 so im not gonna let a crappy band being booked ruin it for me, i dont have to watch any band i dont want to i can do somthing else.

even if it is a sign that the organisers have lost their way its not dead just yet and im gonna ride this thing till its dead.
