Saw that name at the store and was going to buy one ( they come in BIG bottles) will have to wait until end of the week. Have to finish the Warsteiners first !!

if you're used to Warsteiner the Chimay Blue might be a bit too big of step

It's a Belgian Trappist ale, rather sweet, dark and spicy at 9% ABV (the blue one is at least)

Drinking a 75 cl bottle by yourself would be recommended to take at least 2 hours I'd say

That sounds pretty strong. 2 hours ? You know that I now must buy one..I'll take it slow. I think it may rain on Saturday , what a perfect way to spend an afternoon!! :)

:)

Let me know what you think of it!

And:
Do NOT drink it too cold, I'd suggest to start at about 12 degrees Celsius and then let it warm up as you drink it

If you only have a regular fridge at 4-8 celsius, take the bottle out some 15 to 20 minutes before you open it.

Almost finished my first Chimay (red label) 7%.
Nice taste ,stronger than I expected.Have a few sips left & have a good buzz already!!
It's a little fruity,but not overpowering..Me likes...
